Privacy Policy
For Habbit: Visual Tracker. Effective October 21, 2026.
The short version
Habbit stores your habits on your device. We do not run accounts, analytics, advertising or trackers, and we do not collect or sell your personal data.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information through the Habbit app or this website. We do not operate a server that receives your habits, completions, deadlines or settings.
Your habits are entered by you and stored on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us.
2. Data stored on your device
The following is stored locally on your device:
- Habits, schedules, daily check-offs and their history
- Deadlines, reminder preferences and notification settings
- Widget data, which Habbit shares between the app and its widgets through a private App Group container on the device
- Your choice of heat map mode, colors and widget styles
Deleting the app removes this data from your device. Your data is not recoverable from us because we do not hold a copy.
3. Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They are generated and delivered by your device, not by a server. You can turn notifications off in iOS or macOS System Settings at any time.
4. Purchases
Habbit Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment, billing and currency conversion. We do not receive or store your payment card or billing details. Habbit checks with Apple on your device to confirm whether Pro is unlocked. Use Restore Purchases to re-check on a new device with the same Apple ID. Apple’s own privacy policy governs its handling of payment data.
5. This website
This website does not set cookies, use analytics or load third-party trackers. Its fonts and images are served from this site.
If your host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type and the pages you request), those are governed by the host’s own policy and are not used by us to identify you.
6. Third parties
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data. Apple provides the App Store, purchases and the operating system features Habbit uses (notifications and widgets). Their handling of data is described in Apple’s privacy policy.
7. Children
Habbit is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or India), you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data. Because we do not hold your habit data, you can exercise these rights directly by editing or deleting data in the app or by deleting the app. If you need help, contact us through the support link on the App Store listing.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
